ABOUT ARTEMIS

Hello! My name is Artemis and I am a theatre artist. Currently based in NYC and hailing from Ohio, I do it all: playwriting, directing, dramaturgy, and even acting every once in a while.

I make art about the absurdity of our beliefs. I like to question taboos and search for the way-back why’s. I use art to figure out how to exist.

My current artistic focuses are the manosphere, linguistics, and death positivity.

I believe activism begins and ends with community. The rehearsal room is a place for mutual care. Theatre is a necessity because community is a necessity.

In my free time, I collect earrings and overalls.
