About

Artemis Truax, a recent Kent State University graduate, holds degrees in both Theater Arts and Mathematics. During her studies, she assistant directed Head Over Heels, performed in multiple shows, and wrote an original 10-minute play. To cap it all off, she created "Ghosting Dani Mitchell," an original one-act musical, which she directed, produced, and wrote. She has recently started pursuing intimacy direction and music composition.

Artemis's primary focus is on the history of queer women and utilizing the past to envision a better future. Her pieces are infused with a cautious hope, yet stay clear of being overly saccharine. Artemis's passion for consent-first practices, combined with her extensive theatrical experience, guides her efforts to create a safe and inclusive rehearsal space for everyone.
